Let this be an encouragement to you, small business owner: you don’t HAVE to post that blog/send that email/publish that video today.
If you’ve committed to generating content for your audiences, not hitting “post” feels like the wrong choice because you —
- want your brand name to stay top-of-mind
- know your rigorous content calendar supports your sales goals
- don’t want to fall behind your competitors
But please believe me when I say that no content is better than bad content.
In fact, boring, ill-conceived, and contrived content hurts your brand reputation and encourages people to opt-out from EVER HEARING FROM YOU AGAIN.
