I started 3 distinct posts for today’s Marketing Tip Monday.

And each of them needed more time to finesse the concept.

So instead of sharing half-🍑 advice around website conversions, or content clusters, or marketing investment ROI, I archived the ideas so I can mull them over until a future Monday.

Let this be an encouragement to you, small business owner: you don’t HAVE to post that blog/send that email/publish that video today.

If you’ve committed to generating content for your audiences, not hitting “post” feels like the wrong choice because you —

  • 🫠 want your brand name to stay top-of-mind
  • 🫠 know your rigorous content calendar supports your sales goals
  • 🫠 don’t want to fall behind your competitors

But please believe me when I say that no content is better than bad content.

In fact, boring, ill-conceived, and contrived content hurts your brand reputation and encourages people to opt-out from EVER HEARING FROM YOU AGAIN.
