“You’ll reap what you sow” is only part of the story.
When in fact, what you sow today will return greater tomorrow.
A farmer doesn’t sow seeds and expect to dig up seeds in 6 months. What a waste of time that would be! They plant seeds, cultivate a good environment (as much as they can control), and expect fruit.
This exponential return on investment is true for virtues, and it’s true for marketing too.
When you plant good marketing seeds (i.e., blogs that follow SEO best practices, consistent activity in your chosen channels, websites that are user-friendly, content that is engaging and helpful, etc.), you can expect a full sales pipeline in the future.
But if you sow sparingly, haphazardly, or the wrong seeds for the environment, you’re wasting your time and money.
