So what do I do to get creatively inspired? I dig into the math of marketing. I look at stats and trend lines until the numbers change into words and a story emerges.
That’s what I love about marketing: it’s a blend of creative and analytical, requiring both sides of my brain and two complementary skill sets. This means I can switch between the two to stay sharp. And so can you!
For example, if you’ve run out of creative ideas for social content, spend time diving into your email KPIs. Or, if you’ve been staring at subject line spreadsheets all day, brainstorm blog post topics.
