“A website is a journey, not a destination,” a colleague told me once. Hearing that at the end of my first major website redesign was discouraging. But he was right, because successful website managers:

  • Review website analytics to make smart improvements
  • Add new content that speaks to industry trends, new customer pain points, or pursues important keywords
  • Refresh and modernize templates so the look doesn’t feel stale or outdated

Your website isn’t something to check off of a to-do list. A project that never ends? That can be daunting.
