#MarketingTipMonday No. 30

Just as marketers need to collaborate with sales, they also need to work in sync with customer service.

Likely, your customer service team is already surveying your buyers. Add one question that seeks to understand whether or not your company is fulfilling the promises made by marketing. Consider these likert scales:

  • The webinar covered the information I expected to learn.
  • The sandwich was ready freaky fast.
  • Selling my house was a hands-off experience.

Marketers make promises to prospects that they fulfill throughout the buyer’s journey. Fulfilling on the promises made by the marketing team requires the entire company’s involvement. And breaking any of these promises is to the entire company’s detriment. Use the customer experience surveys to make sure your company is meeting the expectations you set.
