It’s cliche, but slow and steady wins the race when it comes to marketing.

> Collaboration opportunities arise in conjunction with your brand recognition. The more popular the brand, the more lucrative the collaboration.

> Your email file is the only place where you own the list and when and how you talk to your audience (i.e. no algorithms working against you). But it’s an investment to create strong domain authority and inbox placement, to curate content people will gobble up, and to build an engaged email file.

This is the reality of marketing, which is in opposition to small business owners’ desire to “double their leads this quarter.” (It’s also in opposition to many “LinkedInfluencers” who get 9000% boosts in results overnight!)

If you want short-term results, pick up the phone and cold call your best prospects. The only marketing you need is a decent website.
